James Paul Van Wie, 53, of Bellingham passed away unexpectedly on September 20, 2021. He was the son of Richard and Marion Van Wie of Bellingham.
He leaves his three precious children Jesse, Skye and Holly Jem of Shrewsbury. He also leaves sisters Grace Franco of Hanson, MA, Michelle Ranucci and her husband Thomas of Canastota NY, and brothers Rick Van Wie and his wife Stacey of Denver, CO, Thompson Van Wie of West Hollywood, CA, Michael Van Wie of Fulton, NY and Mark Van Wie of Memphis, NY. He also leaves behind many dear aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
James was a loving father, who valued his family more than anything. Despite his struggles, he was a fun-loving, kind-hearted man who believe in the goodness of everyone. Guitar-playing, song-writing, artistry, carpentry and baseball were his passions. All of our lives have been forever changed by his passing. Here's to the good times, Jim. You will be missed every day. Rest in peace, dear one. "Love is Now."
There will be a graveside service Thursday, September 30 at 1:30 p.m. at Hopedale Village Cemetery, Mendon Street (Route 16) Hopedale, MA. 01747.
