Obituary

Rose Eliseman Lazard was born on January 9 1932 in Dondon, Haiti . She is the daughter of Anelin Lazard and Eriny Lamy. Her mother passed away when she was 6 years old, so she was raised by her dad and aunt.
She grew up with her brother Martin Nego Lazard and her late sister
Eveline Lazard. She was married to her late husband Joseph Fantal
Louis. With her husband she had three children Blerette, Josette, and her late son was Lionel Louisv She has 6 grand-children Nathalie, Nerlandy,
Nadege, Francois, Garreau, and Morisha. Rose was blessed and highly favored to live to see her 6 great grandchildren Annarika, Shawn, Joshua, Maximus, Levi, Leroy.
Although she had an elementary school level education, she was a very hard worker. She worked as a housekeeper in the highschool of
Mirebalais and relocated shortly after she married her husband. This is the place of birth for all three of her children. In 1984 she moved to Boston Massachusetts where she became a home health aide.
Rose was a woman who liked to share and pray for others. If you were ever in need, you could count on her. Rose was a servant of God first and everything else was second. She faithfully walked with God, and it reflected greatly in her stewardship. Even when she couldn't make it to church, she had her books in order with all the tithes and never missed a week of giving God her best. Her trust in God was such a strong fortress that doubt didn't exist. She believed in the power of prayer and always had a song in her heart. When her prayers went up, God's answers and blessings came down.
As a member of Ephese Seventh-day adventist church, she dedicated her service to the Lord as a deaconess for over twenty years. Granny was a fashionable woman who always debuted a new hat to match her suits and we can't forget about her purses. She was a wise woman and a mother figure to many. She was kind, patient, understanding, and gracious. The epitome of a Godly woman.

Although she is no longer with us on earth her legacy, we must trust God's timing and ask him for healing and peace that will surpass all understanding. Death is a mystery, but
God's promise is known. All is not lost, and what God says he will do, will always be fulfilled. May we see her in the first resurrection when there will be no more suffering and death. Rose's legacy will live on through her children and her children's children.
