Marcia R. (Rosenthal) Vickery-Cameron, 81, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2020. Marcia was born on June 28, 1938 in Peabody to the late Jack and Fannie (Richmond) Rosenthal. She was raised in Salem with her family including her two sisters, the late Nancy Mooney and the late Rosalyn Brown. Marcia later moved to Hamilton, where she resided for the rest of her life.
Marcia is survived by her sons, Glen Vickery of Pennsylvania, Todd Vickery and his wife Leslie of Fitchburg, Scott Vickery of Plymouth and her two daughters, Aldana Lane and her husband Michael of Hamilton and Rhonda Vickery also of Hamilton. She also leaves fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Marcia’s life was all about her family. She loved them dearly, and she was the beacon of her family. After her family, Marcia’s other passion was dance. She was a talented dancer and her love for dancing continued throughout her life. Those who had the opportunity to dance with her or to see her dance were truly blessed.
Please join us, as we can now safely put Marcia to eternal rest, and honor her wonderful life. Marcia was a light in this world and now we can continue shining her beautiful light as we carry her with us in our hearts.
Marcia’s services are as follows: An hour of visitation will be on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., Salem [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem followed by her Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. All guests are required to wear protective face masks indoors in Salem. Following her service she will be laid to rest in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
