Scott B. Kruger, 58, Cape Coral, Florida died Sep. 14, 2021 at Health Park Medical Center, Fort Myers, Florida from Cardiac Arrest.
He was born December 1, 1962 in Anderson and had resided in Anderson until he moved to Florida in 2017. He graduated from Highland High School in 1981 and ITT Technical Institute.
He was co-founder of Baseball Card World where he was able to work in fulfilling his passion for Baseball Card collecting until the business was sold in 1995 and he retired.
He was an avid sports fan especially for the St. Louis Cardinals. He played Little League from Tee Ball to Senior Babe Ruth league. He played on the Babe Ruth team from Chesterfield that went to the State tournament in 1978.
Survivors include his mother Judith (Johnson) Kruger of Anderson; sister, Kim (Rick) Greene of Noblesville; nephews Andrew (Holly) Greene of Jeffersonville, Indiana; Nathan (Ashley) Greene of Indianapolis; Uncle Jim (Susie) Johnson of Anderson; several cousins and friends.
Preceding him in death was his father, Gerald Kruger; paternal grandparents, Lavern & Aline Kruger; maternal grandparents, Dwight & Dorothy Johnson, Aunt & Uncle Grover & Rosemary Malott and Aunt Lena Cook.
A private graveside service was held at Bronnenberg Cemetery in Chesterfield September 21.
