James P. Seaman, 60, of Derry, NH passed away Saturday September 18, 2021 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry after a brief illness. Jim was born January 2, 1961, in Everett, MA and was a son of the late Charles and Shirley (Boudreau) Seaman. He was raised and educated in Everett and in North Carolina, where he also lived.
Jim was employed for most of his adult life as a truck driver. He was employed with several companies including Pilot Freight, New England Motor Freight, Stop & Shop and his current employer Shaws. He enjoyed fishing and was a dedicated family man.
Members of the family include his wife of 30 years (as of September 22nd), Joan (Landry) Seaman of Derry, his daughter, Crystal Morrow of N. Carolina, daughter, Teri Niles, three sons, Larry Niles, James Niles, Douglas Niles and his wife Heather, brother, Daniel Seaman, and two sisters, Jeannette Morey and Patricia Seaman, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Jim was predeceased by three brothers, Charles, William and Robert Seaman and his sister, Loretta Griffin.
After cremation, calling hours will be held Saturday September 25, 2021 from 2 to 4 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Catholic prayers will be offered during the visitation.
