Louis J. Brier Jr., 84, of Whitman, Massachusetts died on Monday, September 13, 2021 at the Boston Medical Center from Congestive Heart Failure.
Born in Westport, Massachusetts in 1936, he was one of twelve children born to the late Louis J. Brier, Sr. and the late Olive Purington.
He was retired from Coburn Wilbert Vault Company in Whitman, MA. He was also retired from the National Guard, 772 Military Police Plymouth, MA in 1996. He was a long time Auxiliary Police Officer for the town of Whitman, MA and a part time dispatcher for the town Hanson, MA.
He leaves behind two daughters and a son, Marie Brier of Florida, Shawn Brier and his wife Sherry of Chepachet, RI and Jessica Wasilewski and her husband Tom of West Bridgewater. He is also survived by his siblings Luther Phillip Brier of Middleboro, MA, Ramona Benson of Raymond, NH, Wanita Flynn of Marlboro, MA, Deloris Brier-Mussillo of Middleboro, MA, Victor Brier of Marion, MA and Marina Silva of New Bedford, MA. He was predeceased by a grandson Cory Wasilewski of West Bridgewater, MA and is survived by ten other grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his long time best friend Tony Marcucella of Whitman, MA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visiting hours on Saturday September 25 from 2:00-4:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte.58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Burial will be private at a later date
