Obituary

Whitinsville – Paul E. Blondin, 90, of Whitinsville, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 in the Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center after a brief illness.

Paul was married for 63 years to the late Doris M. (Thibeault) Blondin, who passed away in 2014. He is survived by two sons, David Blondin and his wife, Jacqueline of Boylston and John Blondin and his wife, Cynthia of Punta Gorda, FL; a daughter, Linda Brown of Douglas; 4 grandchildren, Sherry, David Jr., Shawn and Melanie; a great granddaughter, Krystal; a great great grandson, Archer and sister Elizebeth “Betty” Kotzen of Millbury

Paul was born in Millbury, son of the late Emile and Mary (Roy) Blondin and is also predeceased by two brothers, Roland and Armand Blondin, and sister Dolores Stefancyk of Northbridge.

Mr. Blondin worked for Whitins Machine Works before venturing off and following his entrepreneurial dreams and becoming a self-employed woodworker for many years until his retirement.

During his younger years Paul was an avid scuba diver and enjoyed boating. He owned, trained and raced Harness horses for many years. However, he was truly the happiest when he was spending time with his family.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center for the exceptional care, love and support that was given to Paul during his final days.
