TIVERTON – Carole Ann (Rego) Lawrence, age 77 of Tiverton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sep. 14, 2021 in the comforts of her home with her beloved family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Antonio & Mary (Paiva) Rego and the former wife of John Lawrence.
Prior to retiring, Carole worked in the Admitting Dept. for Charlton Memorial Hospital, Seekonk Physical Therapy, and Southcoast Hospitals Group.
Carole was very artistic and loved crafting, painting, and sculpting. She was a regular at the annual Durfee High School Arts & Crafts fair. She enjoyed listening to music by John Denver, Kenny Rogers, and Barbara Streisand. She also loved to spend time at periwinkle beach.
Carole was fiercely independent and very family oriented. She loved spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.
She leaves behind her three children: Christopher Lawrence (wife Kim) of Swansea, Caren Michaels of Tiverton, and Beth Lawrence (fiancée Jeff Grills) of Tiverton; siblings: Stephen Rego, Jeffrey Rego, Michael Rego, & Mary Sue Gagnon (husband Ray); grandchildren: Haley, Cameron, Casey, Aubrey, Caleb, Briana, and Samuel; several nieces & nephews.
