Artemis (Koletsis) Gouvelis, 88, of Worcester died Wednesday, September 15th at home with her husband of 61 years, Alexander Gouvelis, by her side.
She was born in Romania the daughter of Nicholas and Athanasia (Gherondache) Koletsis. Artemis was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral and its Ladies Philoptochos and seniors’ group. She enjoyed reading, classical music and the opera. Mrs. Gouvelis was a technician at Cushing Hospital, Framingham for many years.
Her funeral is Saturday, September 18th with a service at 10:00 a.m. in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
