In Milford, Derrick Westgate, Age 24, passed away suddenly by auto accident on September 9, 2021. Derrick was born in Attleboro, the son of Kevin Westgate & Julia (Moore) Westgate of Taunton. He had resided in Taunton since 2008 and was a graduate of Taunton High School.
Derrick enjoyed his job as a tow truck driver for Action Towing. He loved doing anything outdoors and being in nature, listening to music, and making people laugh. Derrick loved life and his friends who he thought of like family to him, and above all cherished his family especially his brother and two sisters.
In addition to his parents Derrick is survived by his siblings; Brianna, Steven and Abigail, he also leaves several relatives and many friends.
Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Monday, September 20th from 4-7pm. There will also be a celebration of life at the Lafayette Club, 18 Lakeview Ave., Taunton, MA 02780 on Tuesday from 5-9pm.
