Mrs. Linda Lois Justice, 77, of Fitzgerald died on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Buckingham South surrounded by family.
Memorial services will be held 3 PM, Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the Fitzgerald Church of God in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Dewain Joiner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the sanctuary on Saturday.
Mrs. Justice was born in Grady County on September 1, 1944, to Cecil Ivy and Lois Hester Burt. She was preceded in death by her 9-month-old brother, Danny Burt. A 1963 graduate of Cairo High School, she met her future husband through a mutual co-worker. They dated on and off again for many years before tying the knot in 1989. Mrs. Justice moved to Fitzgerald in 2003. A homemaker, she was an avid gardener and won many Beauty Spot of the Month awards. She loved taking cruises, dancing with her husband and having family cruise with them. Mrs. Justice worked in the civil service at Robins AFB in Georgia and also in California and Saudi Arabia.
Survivors include: husband of 32 years, Leland Justice; daughter, Kaye (Mark) Bufalini; son, Marcus (Loretta) Warren; stepdaughter, Connie Fairchild; stepsons, Wallace Justice and Larry Justice; brothers, Bobby (Jane) Burt, Jimmy (Vicky) Burt, Keith (Diana) Burt, Richard Burt; sisters, Barbara (Gary) Howington, Debra Phillips granddaughter, Lacey (Mark) Shuman; grandson, Brandon Warren, son of Lynn Warren-Lucero, and great-grandson, Liam Shuman.
