Bruce Loren Wheeler,60, of Chesterfield, loving husband of Becky (Roth) Wheeler, went to heaven on September 13, 2021.
He was born on February 16, 1961 in Kokomo. He worked at Food Warehouse (Spartan Nash Caito) and was a member of New Life Christian Church, Anderson, where he served as a deacon.
Bruce was a devoted church member, mowing the grass and cleaning at the church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting, guns, vacationing and playing games with Becky. He had also served as Y camp counselor.
He is survived by his wife Becky; half brother, John Wheeler; half sisters, Tracy Workman and Sylvia Wheeler; three aunts, Carolyn Hobbs, Norma Morrow, and Nancy Exmeyer and lots of cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Sarah Wheeler, and a baby daughter.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 2:30 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Johnny Cawthon. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Monday, 2 hours prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be given to New Life Christian Church.
