Curtis Edward Mehrer, 52, of Prosser, passed away on September 9, 2021 at Portland Providence Hospital.
He was born on August 20, 1969 in Everett, Washington to Joe and Linda Mehrer. He was raised in Prosser and graduated from Prosser High School with the Class of 1988. Curtis worked for the Sunnyside Valley Irrigation District for many years and was currently employed by Fowler General Construction for the past two years.
Curtis was a member of Grandview Nazarene Church and served faithfully for the security team and chaperoned many church events. He also helped build churches and gave to the needy in Thailand, Cuba, Sri Lanka and Mexico.
He loved fishing, watching the Seahawks and spending quality time with friends and family.
He is survived by his daughter, Cassandra Mehrer of Oakley, CA; his mother, Linda Mehrer of Prosser; his sister, Lori (Charlie) Roberts of Kennewick; his brothers, Lester (Melissa) Mehrer of Pasco and Craig Mehrer (Melissa) of Benton City; his fiancé, Norma Villareal of Prosser; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews who loved their “Super Baby.”
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 18th at Grandview Nazarene Church. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Grandview Nazarene Global Missions. The service will be live streamed on Grandview Nazarene Church Facebook page and on U Tube.
