In Taunton, Martin J. Silvia, Age 68, passed away suddenly in Morton Hospital on September 9, 2021. Martin was born in Taunton, the son of the late Antone & Anna (Menento) Silvia.
Martin had resided his entire life in Taunton. He was educated in Taunton schools and was a graduate of Taunton High School. Martin loved animals, had a strong Christian faith and above all cherished his time with family and friends.
Martin leaves his siblings; Antone Silvia and his wife Helen of Texas, Lawrence J. Silvia and his wife Vicki of Florida, Marie Silvia of Florida, Frances Gumabon and husband Bernardo of Taunton, Timothy Silvia and his wife Annette of Taunton and the late Lori Ann Teixeira. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 15th from 9-10am. A graveside service will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton at 11am.
