Obituary

Thomas "Mark" Dellingner, 72, of Anderson died September 9, 2021 at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born March 15, 1949 in Muncie, the son of Ernest L. and Lucy (Lindsy) Dellingner, and graduated from Highland High School in 1968.
He was a tool maker at Delco Remy 33 years. He attended Pendleton Community Church of God. He was a member of the American Motorcycle Association and National Rifle Association. He loved history, war movies, target shooting, reloading ammunition and his grandkids.
Mark is survived by his wife of 12 years, Melba Jean (Yadon) Dellingner; his three children, Todd (Belinda) Dellingner, Troy (Christine) Dellingner all of Anderson and Julie (Gene) Shipp of Summitville; half brother, Don (Cathy) Bowyer of Orestes; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Jerry Bowyer and a son, Rick Rumler.
Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton with Pastor Kirk Bookout officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from noon until 2 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Memorial contributions may be given to National Rifle Association.
