Mark Jude 'Marty' Martin, 59, of Lowell, passed away on Wednesday, September 8th 2021 at the High Pointe Hospice House with his wife by his side. He was the husband of Mary Gayle (Crocker) Martin, they have been together for 16 years.
He was born on February 17, 1962 in East Los Angeles, California. His family and he relocated to Boston, where he resided with his mother Harriet A. Kelly, and his aunts, Ruth, Sally, and Frances. He grew up in Boston and was educated in Brighton. He attended UMass Amherst and Bentley University.
He resided in Lowell for the past 16 years, and he worked for the telephone company, starting in Boston, and retiring from Andover.
Besides his wife Mary Gayle (Crocker) Martin, he is survived by his step children, Nichole Peacock and her husband Howard of Fitchburg, Paul Higgins and his wife Rebecca of Pepperell, Stephen Higgins and his companion Ashley Frank of New York, Alexander Manousos and his husband Jaime Vanna of Chestnut hill, and Alexandria Manousos of Barre, VT. He was a grandfather to Timothy and Emma Peacock, and also leaves many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends including his close friends that were like brothers to him Stephen Montgomery, Thomas Cady, John Ryan, David Marchione and Brian Fernandes.

HIS FUNERAL SERVICE WILL TAKE PLACE AT 5 PM IN THE FUNERAL HOME AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE CALLING HOURS.
