FALL RIVER - Malvina F. Medeiros, age 92 of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday, Sep. 8, 2021 at St. Anne's Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Fall River, Malvina was the daughter of the late Antone Ferreira and the late Maria (Farias) Ferreira. She, spent most of her life raising her children, and then helping to raise her many grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Anthony Medeiros, Cynthia Cabral, Richard Medeiros, Sharon Benevides, Deborah Gagne, Sandra Medeiros, and Michael Medeiros; her sister: Virginia Cooper of Oregon; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces & nephews. Malvina was the mother of the late Robert James Medeiros and the late David Matthew Medeiros. She was also the sister of the late Manuel, Sarah, Oliver, Gilbert, Tony, Joseph, and Diemas Ferreira, Delia Candeias, & Leonor "Tina" Souza.
Malvina's private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River.
