Lea Marie Sessa passed away peacefully at home, on September 1, 2021. She was 86 years old.
Lea was born on February 13, 1935 to Angelo and Maria (Mimi) Castro in Van Nuys, California. She married the love of her life Fred Sessa on June 25th 1955. Together while residing in Canoga Park, they had three children: Antonia, Michael and Angelo. The family moved to Ventura, CA in 1965
Lea worked for 25 years at the County of Ventura as an assistant to the Chief Administrator. She retired in 1985 and joined her husband in their family business Sessa Manufacturing.
Lea was a beloved mother whose home was a gathering place for family and friends.
In addition to her children, Lea is survived by her grandchildren Michael, Taryn, Brent, Angelo, Christina, Jonathan, Burton and two great grandchildren, Dominic and Brielle.
Her family will hold a private memorial service.
