Evelyn M. Fraioli, 91, of Smithfield, died peacefully in her home on September 4, 2021. She was the wife of the late Anthony Fraioli. They had been married for 51 years.
Born in West Newton, Mass, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Santa (Guzzi) Gentile. In 1964 she had moved to Greenville, RI with her husband, where she spent the remainder of her life. She had worked for the Smithfield School Department for over 20 years, where she was the Secretary to the Superintendent. She enjoyed spending time with her family at their Cape Cod home in Wellfleet, MA.
She is survived by her two sons: Dean Fraioli of Newport and David Fraioli of Wellfleet, MA, her sister Florence Bryson of West Newton, MA as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Laura Balboni, Theresa Nigro, and Jerome Gentile.
Her family would like to thank the hospice staff at VNA of Care New England for their kindness and support.
Her funeral will be held Saturday September 11th at 10:30am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Inurnment will be in Highland Park, Johnston. Visitation Saturday morning 9:30am to 10:30am
