FALL RIVER… Debra A. (Medeiros) Fernandes, 64, of Fall River, passed away, Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Carvalho Grove Health and Rehabilitation.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late James and Maureen (Shovelton) Medeiros and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
She was predeceased by her daughter Kimberly Fernandes, sister Darleen Medeiros, and late husband Roger Fernandes.
Ms. Fernandes enjoyed reading, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Survivors include a son Jonathan Fernandes of Fall River, 3 sisters; Donna Medeiros, Dale Dennis, Mary Lou Medeiros all of Fall River, 9 grandchildren including Jada Fernandes who she raised, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held at the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME 1555 Pleasant St., Fall River on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. following visiting hours from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Cremation will follow.
