Leslie Ann (Haworth) Johnson, of Cumberland, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2021 at the age of 35.
Leslie graduated from Smithfield High School in 2004, and earned a bachelor’s degree at Rhode Island College in 2009. Leslie had a drive and determination to work hard to succeed at everything she put her mind to and lived a fulfilled life; from obtaining a black belt in Taekwondo as a child, to becoming a kickboxing instructor at Ilovekickoxing.com, to working her way up from the bottom at Applebee's as a cook to becoming the General Manager-- and winning numerous awards of recognition as manager of the year. Leslie’s kindness & strength touched the lives of people all around her.
Leslie enjoyed spending her free time gardening, reading books, baking, and spending time at the beach. Most of all Leslie enjoyed living a physically fit life and exercised regularly.
Leslie had an unquenchable thirst for life that took her all around the world. She loved traveling to new places and trying new things with her husband Patrick and her family; visiting China, South Korea, Europe & California. She vacationed in Maine every summer with the Johnson family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Patrick Gene Johnson, her parents Ralph and Haejung (Yoon) Haworth, and her sister Elizabeth Haworth and her husband Kevin Williams all of Atlanta Georgia, and her sister Sarah Ethier and her husband Richard of Harrisville, Rhode Island. Leslie also leaves behind her father and mother in laws, Gene and Mary Johnson, her sister-in-law Leigh Johnson, and brother-in-law, Nicholas Johnson and his wife Myjorie of Leominster, Massachusetts, as well as her brother-in-law Aaron Johnson and his wife Candace of Connecticut. Leslie was a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews; Madison and Gage Ethier, and Marielle, Elijah, Grace, and Adalyn Johnson. Leslie also leaves behind her two cats whom she loved very much, Coco and Jack.
Leslie will forever live on in our hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday September 10th at 9:30am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will be private. Visitation Thursday September 9th from 4pm to 7pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226 The Jimmy Fund
