Elizabeth DeBastos, 52, of Dartmouth passed away Monday September 6, 2021 after a long illness.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Antonio and Cecilia (Silva) DeBastos, she lived in New Bedford and Dartmouth most of her life.
Liz loved being around children. She enjoyed playing Bingo, dining out in restaurants, and listening to music by Michael Jackson.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Stephanie Penha and her husband Vincent; her nephews, Devin Santos and Keyan Penha; her longtime companion, Edward Lauria; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and Godchildren.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday September 10, 2021 at 10 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visitation will be on Friday morning from 8-10 AM prior to the service. Due to Covid precautions, the family requests that all attendees wear masks. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
