Charles Harry Hudson, 80, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Sunday, September 5, 2021, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Wray Holiness Baptist Church in Wray, Georgia, with the Rev. Rob Merritt officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Hudson was born November 22, 1940, in Irwin County, Georgia to the late Charlie “Buddy” Hudson & Cleavie Maddox Hudson. He lived in the community all of his life and was a farmer. His passion was farming. Mr. Hudson also enjoyed fishing and NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Druscilla Harper Hudson of Ocilla; a daughter and her husband, Connie Evans & Weyman; three grandchildren: Rebekah Kendrick & Blake, Devin Evans & Sandy and Allie Evans; four great-grandchildren: Emma Dru Evans, Harper Kendrick, Cash Evans and Shep Evans; and one sister, Annelle Paulk. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings.
