Guy Eugene Ferrone, age 75, of Wilmington passed away on Tuesday, August 31st at Vanderbilt University Medical Center of Nashville, Tennessee. Raised and educated in Medford, he was the son of the late Cosmo Anthony and Sylvia Dolores (Constantino) Ferrone.
Guy was proud of his job as a Treasury Agent for the Internal Revenue Service, were he worked many long hours. He enjoyed vacations on Cape Cod, and loved his cars, boats and motorcycle.
Guy was the beloved husband of the late Concetta (Merenda) Ferrone, and the devoted father of Guy Ferrone Jr. and his wife Annie of Revere, Jeffrey Ferrone and his wife Pamela of Abington, and Cheryl Bell and her husband John Bell IV of Washington, CT. He was the loving grandfather of Logan, Lucas, Ava, Morgan and Lauren, and the dear brother of the late Carol Mastromauro and her surviving husband Charles. Guy is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 9th from 4 through 8 PM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Funeral Friday, September 10th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Blessed Mother of the Morning Star Church (formerly known as Our Lady of Grace), 194 Nichols St., Everett, at 10 AM.. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
