Susan “Cookie” Markey, 66, of Roslindale, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully in her home on August 15, 2021.
Daughter of the late Elizabeth A. (Mosher) Markey of Boston and the late Alfred D. Markey of Walpole, and survived by her sister, Jill Markey, of Boston.
Susan was educated in New York and Boston and worked as a dental assistant in the same Brookline dental office for 40 years. She loved her work and the colleagues she called family.
Susan was very sociable and was often found at her gym keeping fit. She was a member of Friends of Roslindale High and loved the neighborhood where her mother was born.
Many will miss her wit and energy and remember how much fun she was to be with.
