Susan Marie Walko 66, of Parkville passed away on August 31st, 2021. She was a resident of Oakcrest Senior Living. Susan was born in Painesville, Ohio on March 29th, 1955 to Isabelle and Raymond Walko. She attended Parkville High School, graduating in 1973. She continued her education at Towson State University, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1976 and Johns Hopkins University with a Master of Administrative Science Degree in 1984.
Susan started her career as a chemist for the Coca-Cola Company and later worked in the crime lab for the Baltimore City and Baltimore County Police Departments from which she retired. She enjoyed fishing, video games, reminiscing about her career and keeping in touch with family. She had a beautiful porcelain bird collection and loved the fun surrounding Ground Hog Day. Susan is survived by her sister Cheryl Dzwonczyk and husband Ross, nephew Matt Dzwonczyk; nephew Daniel Dzwonczyk, his wife Lisa, nieces Liliana and Daniella Dzwonczyk; Aunt Florence Troyan; Uncle Richard Walko and beloved cousins.
A private service will be held at a later date.
