Francis A. Gile, 95, of Londonderry, NH, died Thursday September 2, 2021 in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. He was born in Derry on January 18, 1926, a son of the late Albert and Frances (McCann) Gile. Francis had been a resident of Londonderry for over 50 years, formerly living in Derry. He had worked for five years as a custodian for Pinkerton Academy in Derry, and formally owned and operated "Keep It Clean" of Londonderry. Francis was a communicant of St. Jude Parish in Londonderry. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Patriots and Red Sox. Francis enjoyed picking blueberries, flower and vegetable gardening, and loved to travel.
He is survived by his son, Paul Gile and his wife Robin of Londonderry; his daughter, Lisa DiNitteo and her husband Raymond of E. Derry; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Dolores A. (Rioux) Gile on April 8, 2021.
A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, September 8th from 8:30 – 9:30am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Mask usage is at the discretion of the attendee. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00am in St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. The burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Rd., Londonderry. In lieu of flowers a memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Parish, Londonderry NH.
