Great grandmother of 22. Sister of Domenic DeStefano of Scituate, Alba D’Angelo of Norwell and Norma Glynn of Milton and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123)Brockton Tuesday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Brockton at 10 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Mrs. Albiani died Friday evening at her home surrounded by her family after a period of failing health. She was born and raised in Boston a daughter of the late Domenic and Maria (Nutile) DeStefano. She was a graduate of Dorchester High School and Miss Pierce Finishing School. Mrs. Albiani was a homemaker who stayed home to raise her family. She had been a resident of Brockton for the past 40 years, previously lived in Dorchester. She enjoyed cooking and fine needle work and cherished time spent with her family. She had been volunteer at the Brockton, Goddard and Cardinal Cushing Hospital
She is survived by her two daughters, Marie A. Buckley of Brockton, Laetitia A. Carney and her husband George of Brockton, her grandchildren Andrea Flynn, Lindsay Watson, Seth Buckley, Kelly Carney Kelly, Jill Mead, Maura Carney, Christopher Carney, Dennis Carney, Timothy Carney and Thomas Carney, 22 great grandchildren, her brother, Domenic DeStefano of Scituate, two sisters, Alba D’Angelo of Norwell and Norma Glynn of Milton and several nieces and nephew.
She was the wife of the late Seth Albiani, mother of the late Virginia A. Carney and Valerie A. Albiani and mother in law of the late David Buckley and Joseph Carney
