Worcester: Herbert A. Brewer, 69, passed away at home on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife of 47 years- his High School sweetheart- Terry L. (Granger) Brewer; sister in law Linda Holstead; and several nieces and nephews, including Carol Clouthier. He was predeceased by 2 sisters- Patricia St. Germain and Susan Goodrich.
Skip, as he was affectionately known, was born in Worcester, son of the late Herbert and Beatrice T. (Martin) Brewer. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School and proudly served his country in the National Guard. He was a utility worker for National Grid for many years. He was an avid reader, and enjoyed working on cars and taking day trips to the beach.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 3-6 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
