Susie "Sue" Bell Morrison, 59, of Hampstead, NH, died Tuesday August 31, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Derry, NH on August 13, 1962, a daughter of the late Owen and Martha (Bennett) Leighton. She had been a resident of Hampstead since 1988, formerly living in Derry, where she had attended Pinkerton Academy. Sue enjoyed crocheting, going up North, motorcycling, sitting outside looking at the lake and spending time with her family and her dog Hunter.
She is survived by her husband, Gary A. Morrison, Sr. of Hampstead; her son, Gary A. Morrison, Jr. of Hampstead; two daughters, Crystal Masera and her husband Robert of Atkinson, NH, and Amy Morrison of Chester, NH; three grandchildren Braden, Tyler, and Rachel; her brother, Owen Leighton, Jr. of Northumberland, NH; her sister, Debbie Laflamme of Manchester, NH; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Rockingham VNA Hospice, 137 Epping Rd., Exeter, NH 03833 or to Alzheimer's Association, MA/NH Chapter, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
