Oliver Lee Bryan 75, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, August 30, 2021, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Friday, September 3, 2021, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Rex Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Dorminy Mill Cemetery, in Ben Hill County, Georgia. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Bryan was born March 24, 1946, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Horace and Patsy Yarbrough. He lived in the community all of his life and was a brick mason. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. Mr. Bryan loved to fish, watch deer and ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Sally Bryan of Fitzgerald; children: Terry Bryan of Irwin County, David Bryan of Albany, Lee Bryan of Fitzgerald, Jenni Lynn Taylor of Irwin County and Pam Sprinkle of Douglas; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers: Donald Yarbrough of Buford, Julian Yarbrough & Dianne of Fitzgerald, Kay Fussell & Lewis of Fitzgerald, Margaret Batten & Russell of Perry, Florida; two sisters-in-law: Beth Yarbrough and Linda Yarbrough and his special companion, Boo Boo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dianne Kelley and two brothers: Ernest Yarbrough and Barry Yarbrough.
