Lois Yvonne Marple, 95, a resident of Ventura, CA, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. She was born in Gary, Indiana to Frank and Lorena Flannery on September 27, 1925. After graduating from Horace Mann high school, she and several girlfriends moved to Washington, D.C. to aide in the war effort. At the end of WWII, she and a friend moved to Oxnard, CA., where she met and married her husband of 66 years, Robert Marple. Soon after the marriage, she began working at the Construction Battalion Center, Port Hueneme.(now Naval Base Ventura County). Lois retired after about 25 years and she and her family enjoyed many years of RVing and vacationing in the Kernville, CA area. Lois is survived by her daughter Karen (Woody) Woodruff, son Kevin (Debbie) Marple, grandchildren Cory Marple,
Charles(Yvonne) Woodruff, David (Jennifer) Woodruff. And her great-grand children Emily, Jacob, and Hailey Woodruff.

Graveside services for Lois were held at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park on August 26,2021. The reverend Jonathan Mulford officiated.
