Obituary

Fran Thibault loved few things more in life than to enjoy the summer winds sitting on her porch at her beach house, enjoying a cocktail, laughing and talking the days and nights away, nestled among those she loved along her life’s journey.

Frances S. Thibault, 81, of North Smithfield died Sunday evening August 29, 2021 at Landmark Medical Center. She was the loving wife of the late Thomas E.Thibault, Sr. They were married on October 27, 1962 and shared 55 wonderful years together until his passing in 2017.

Born and raised in Central Falls, Frances was the daughter of the late John and Mary Pikor. She resided in North Smithfield for over 55 years.
Affectionately known to most as either “Mom”, “Mrs.T” or “Franny”, Fran could get to know any one through just a few moments of conversation. She had an innate gift of being able to instantly click and connect with just about anyone and everyone made her special.

She treasured time spent with family, friends, and trips Atlantic City. She was devoted New England Patriots Fan and loved her movies even if she saw them multiple times.

By far and away Frances’ true pride and joy will forever be her one and only grandson Thomas E. Thibault, III. Fran cherished each and every moment with her pumpkin !!! (any yes he is “Her Pumpkin”)!

Frances will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was at her best when good times and fun brought together those most important to her.
