Clyde Leon Roberson, 78, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, August 30, 2021, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Memorial services will be held 2 PM, Friday, September 3, 2021, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald. Interment will be private.
Mr. Roberson was born October 6, 1942, in Trion, Georgia, to the late John Pershing & Sarah Lorene Cleveland Roberson. Mr. Roberson was a truck driver and served in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his children: Donna Roberson of Washington, Regina & Tony Cox of South Carolina, Paul & Mary Roberson of Parrot, Dan Roberson of Louisiana, Chris & Blaire Roberson of Douglas and Diane & Preston Walker of Fitzgerald; Jacob Haynes and 23 other grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by is wife, Janie Ruth Richards Roberson and two sons: Keith Haynes and Charles Pearson.
