FALL RIVER… Darren C. Latour, 53 of Fall River passed away August 28, 2021 at St. Annes Hospital.
He was the loving husband of Joyce (Turner) Latour to whom he had been married for the past 4 years.
Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Omer J. Latour and Constance J. (Gosslin) Wilks and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
Mr. Latour will be remembered as spontaneous and the man who would help anyone. He loved odd jobs, going fishing and spending time with his family. His grandchildren were the lights of his life.
Along with his wife, survivors include his children: Vanessa Cruz, Justin Cruz and Darren Brennan; his grandchildren: Haley, Brianna, Nicholas, Autumn, Fall, Serenity, Summer, Shaun, Jr and Ashton; his siblings: Michael Latour, Timothy Harper, Rhonda Ferry, Laurie Sylvia, Jeannie Robitaille, Karen Harper and Leslie John Harper; many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Wayne Moss, Darlene Latour and Harold J. Latour.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 8 PM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5-8 PM, prior to the service. Burial will take place Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 10 AM at Notre Dame Cemetery, 1540 Stafford Rd. Fall River, MA 02721. Everyone attending the burial is asked to meet directly at Notre Dame.
