It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia A. (Maney) Monahan, announce her passing, peacefully at home, at the age of 85.
Born June 14, 1936, in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Helen Maney.
Patricia is survived by four sons, Donald Monahan of Taunton and wife Jean; Brian Monahan of Brockton; Timothy Monahan of East Bridgewater and wife Susan; and Kevin Monahan and wife Karen of Newport, New Hampshire; she was the beloved mother of the late Steven "Tank" Monahan and the former wife of the late Donald E. Monahan. Patricia is also survived by her sister, Ellie Lyall and husband Jim of Palm Coast, Florida.
Patricia was proud of her seven accomplished grandchildren and cherished the opportunity to meet her eight great grandchildren. Patricia will be missed by countless loving relatives and dear friends.
Patricia was a long time resident of Lakeville, MA. She was a dedicated employee of AT&T and pursued her hobbies throughout her retirement. Patricia enjoyed hosting her grandchildren, scrapbooking, reading, traveling, watching Boston sports, especially the Red Sox, and spending time with her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the Holy Ghost Church, School Street in Whitman, MA, followed by burial in the St. James Cemetery in Whitman, MA.
