RONEY Patricia (Clougherty) of Dedham, formerly of Charlestown, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021, surrounded by her family. Patricia was the wife of the late David Roney Sr. She leaves her children Maryjane Hinman and her husband Archie of Alaska, Patricia Walker and her husband Ted of Dedham, Evelyn Brennan and her husband Charlie of Readville, and the late David Roney Jr. and Susan Brackett. She also leaves her daughter in law Jackie Roney of Dedham. She leaves 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Sister of Joseph Clougherty, Mary McNelley, Jean Harrington, Leo Clougherty and the late John, Robert, Paul, Evelyn Hanf, Bernard, Charles, Jane Green, Peter, and Cecilia.
Patricia was born to Anna and John Clougherty in Charlestown and graduated from Mount St. Joseph in 1954. She retired as a supervisor from Baybank, after decades of work.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home 456 High St. Dedham on Wednesday, September 1st from 4-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Thursday, September 2nd at 10am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anne Church Readville at 11am. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
