Inocencia Ferrer-Garcia, 90, of New Bedford passed away Wednesday August 25, 2021 surrounded by her family.
Inocencia was born on May 8, 1931 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. She was a loving and kind woman, who always loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A devout Christian, she loved praising and worshipping God above all things. She was a member of Iglesia Pentecostal, Jesucristo, Rey de Gloria, located in the South End of New Bedford.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 70 years, Pedro Garcia Gonzalez. She was the loving mother of 14 children, 13 of who are still living. She was also the loving grandmother to 49 grandchildren, 190 great-grandchildren, and 52 great-great-grandchildren.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday August 30, 2021 at 11:45 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
