Carol A. Ferraguto, 81 of Tewksbury, Medford and Somerville, died Thursday in the High Pointe House Hospice. She was 81. Born and raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Josephine (LaRiccia) Tutela.
Carol had a long career as a legal secretary. She enjoyed traveling and fine dining, especially with her husband James. When she wasn’t traveling, you could find her spending time with her family. Carol’s biggest pride and joys were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carol also enjoyed cooking. She was most known for her meatballs and gravy that she would make every Sunday. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Carol was the Beloved wife of 61 years of the late James A. Ferraguto. She was the devoted mother of Lisa Ganem and her husband Richard of Haverhill, James Ferraguto Jr. and his wife Lisa of North Reading. She was the loving “nana” of Christina Ganem Nix and her husband Bryan of Haverhill, Melissa DiFabio and her husband Marc of Georgetown, Maria Belanger and her husband Aaron of Newton, NH, Julianna and Bianca Ferraguto both of North Reading and the cherished “nonni” of James and Weston Nix.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family Tuesday August 31st from 9 to 11 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
