Lennox Dick, 81, of Chula passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Pastor Kevin Dawson officiating. Mr. Dick will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 30, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Born March 19, 1940, in Roxborough, Trinidad/Tobego, Mr. Dick was the son of the late Adolphus James Dick and Ena Davis Dick. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Lynette Jones; one son, Lee Bijolle Stephens; three brothers, Bertrum Dick, Clem Dick and William Dick; two sisters, Patricia Dick and Thelma MacFarlane ; and two granddaughters, Sarah Taylor and Danielle Taylor. Before retiring, he was the owner of Star Auto Sales in Tampa, Florida and Tifton for 33 years. He loved his German Shepherds and he attended Tift Avenue Church of God.
Mr. Dick is survived by his wife, Marie Highsmith Dick of Chula; two sons, Glen Mungal of Winston Salem, North Carolina and Ronson Lennox of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Marianne Taylor of Belton, Texas, Lenore and Carroll Stewart of Fort Mill, South Carolina, Melissa and Tommy Perrett of Ambrose and Tina Snow and her fiance’ Jackson Drawdy, Jr. of Ty Ty; three brothers, Danny Dick, Stephen Dick and Calvin Dick; five sisters, Rita Dick, Crescent Parisienne, Cynthia Rambaram, Pearline Dick and Christine Gerber; twelve grandchildren, Preston Snow, Brenton Snow, Elisa Dibble, Kasie Harrell, Dakota Stephens, David Taylor, Liz Taylor, John Taylor, Jesslyn Jones, Nicholas Rose, Miles Lennox and Jackson Lennox; and six great-grandchildren, Noah Dibble, Lena Minnis, Zendee Hoyle, Anthony Taylor, Dominic Taylor and Vern Stephens.
