DENMARK- Dale Robert Hall, a resident of Denmark, Maine, passed away due to heart failure on 22 August 2021, at the age of 60.
The son of Franklin and Lois Hall, Dale was born in Boston, Massachusetts on 17 August 1961 and grew up in Plainville, Mass. Dale honorably served in the US Air Force, providing him the opportunity to be stationed at many locations around the world, including Colorado, California, Texas, Australia, Korea and Germany, as well as to work for a military contractor in Greenland (the country not NH) for many years.
While in Greenland, Dale decided to make his home in Denmark, Maine, having become familiar with the area as a child on holidays in North Conway. Dale enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, biking, traveling and driving wherever the back roads of Maine and New Hampshire took him, as well as sitting in the Top of the Ninth or A la Mexicana, having a beer with good company.
Dale was known by his many friends as a jovial, outgoing, really good guy, who would give you the shirt off his back. He will be sorely missed by those who loved him very much.
Dale is survived by a great deal of very sad friends, including his former wife, Kim Duncan.
And his brother Glen Hall.
Due to rapidly accelerating Covid cases, there is not yet a definitive date for us to commemorate Dale's life at this time. Plus, he would not be happy if we endangered the people he cared deeply about. For now, he is scheduled to be cremated and we will say our goodbyes and have a drink or two when the time comes when it is appropriate to do so.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Poitras, Neal & York Funeral Home, Cornish, www.mainefuneral.com
