Harold A. Moore, age 70, of Medford passed away on Wednesday, August 25th at Massachusetts General Hospital of Boston. A lifelong Medford resident, he was the son of the late Robert and Charlotte (Nevers) Moore. Harold worked for 37 years as a facility supervisor for Ionic Corporation (GE) in Watertown, and in his spare time loved to tinker and fix things. Harold enjoyed watching movies and especially loved listening to Country-Western music.
Harold was the beloved husband of Donna P. Serra-Moore, and the devoted father of Jennifer Haughey of Franklin, Victor Moore and his husband Dan Murphy of North Conway, NH, Christine Deitsch and her husband David of Medford, and Brian Moore and his life partner Marissa of Campton, NH. He was the loving grandfather of nine grandchildren, and is survived by his brother Robert Moore, brother-in-law John Serra and his wife Maria, and his nieces Sofia and Stella. Harold’s family would also like to express their gratitude to his wonderful caregivers: Ziggy, Sean, Andrea and Linda.
A funeral service will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, September 1st, at 12:00 noon. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family from 9 AM through noon. Interment will be private.
