Worcester – Karen J. (Carpenter) Mero, 66, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 in Saint Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Karen was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Edwin F. and Joan E. (Hipson) Carpenter and is survived by a son, Mark Mero of Worcester and a brother, James Carpenter of Connecticut.
Karen was a loving person who was the happiest when spending time with her family and friends. She loved dining out, taking scenic rides, going a shopping adventure, and celebrating the holidays, especially her birthdays.
Burial services will be held in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester on Thursday, September 2, at 11 AM (Section St. Christopher). Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester is directing arrangements.
