SOMERSET – Madeline Viveiros, age 91, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2021 at Clifton Rehabilitative Nursing Center. She was the beloved wife of Edward A. Viveiros for 70 years. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Pires) Rapoza. Prior to retirement, Madeline worked as a lunch aid for the Somerset Public Schools. She enjoyed reading, watching old films, knitting and crocheting, most of all spending time with family. She adored her grandchildren
Madeline was a devoted mother to her daughters Claudia Leonardo (husband Manuel Louis Leonardo) of Somerset, Joanne Viveiros of Fall River and the late Joan Viveiros; sister to John Rapoza Jr., Marie Perez, Nancy Gomes and the late Michael Rapoza. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Tuesday, August 31st with extended calling hours from 8-9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John of God Church at 10:00 A.M.
