Chester W. Fisk, age 83, of Franklin died August 23 at his home, he was the husband of Beth (Pinel) Fisk for the past 57 years.
Chester was born in Ruislip, England on September 7,1937 the son of the late Arthur and Amy (Bywater) Fisk, and grew up in England during WWII, he came to America with his parents at age 15.
He was a graduate of Canton High School, Wentworth Institute of Technology, and Northeastern University.
Chester worked for Masoneilan in Norwood and New England Controls in Mansfield, working on engineering and sales of industrial control valves.
He loved RV camping with the family, cruising thru the Panama Canal, the Caribbean, and Alaska. He loved all things trains, including train trips thru the Canadian Rockies and many other journeys. A highlight of any vacation was seeing or riding any train. He especially enjoyed working on his large model railroad in the basement with his grandson James.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons, David Fisk and his wife Ann and grandson James of Wrentham and Steven Fisk and his wife Cami of Bellingham.
He is also survived by his cousin Marsha Davis of North Carolina.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 30 from 4-7 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 p.m.
