Bobby Earl Marling, 60, Anderson, passed away early Sunday morning, August 22, 2021 as a result of a car accident.
He was born on June 13, 1961 in Anderson, the son of Josie Ann (Lawson) Fowler and William Gaylord Marling.
Our beloved Bobby was full of life, full of Christ and especially loved his family dearly. Bobby "Johnson" enjoyed making everyone laugh, he was a jokester. He wanted to make you laugh. His big smile and his contagious laugh will be missed. He was kind, giving and went out of his way to help anyone in need. He was a true man of God. He attended Florida Station Church of God and had a special bond with Pastor Jerry. Bobby loved all animals, especially his beloved pet, Harley and his music. He loved to create works of art and enjoyed instructing others to do the same. Whether it was in his tattoo artistry, sculpting or his paintings, that was Bobby's passion. He had the best philosophy for life and applied it daily. He was living his best life!!
Bobby is survived by his mother, Josie Ann Fowler; step-father, Larry G. Marling; siblings, Bill J. (Sherri) Marling, David Marling, Gayla Marling, Gina (Bryant) Keesling, Larry Marling Jr.; nephews and niece; Brandon Marling, Justin Marling, Kevin M. McKeon, Bobby Joe Killebrew, Nathaniel McKeon, Amanda Frey, Tyler McKeon; dear friend, Jennifer Kellams and beloved pet; Harley.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Gaylord Marling; grandparents, Thelma Wolmbold, Earl and Laura Lawson; brothers, Jeffrey Marling and Scott Marling.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 28, 2021 beginning at 11 AM at Rozelle- Johnson Funeral Service. Funeral service will follow at 1 PM officiated by Pastor Jerry Hilligoss. Burial will take place at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to ASPCA or the Humane Society.
