Martin Sydney Rosen of Winthrop and formerly of Swampscott passed away peacefully on August 21. Martin was the beloved husband of Louise (Rodakis) Rosen. He was the devoted father of Michael Rosen and his wife Candy and Lori Rosen Caplin and her husband Alan. Martin was the loving son of the late Nathan and Mary Rosen. He was the dear brother of the late Barry Rosen and brother-in-law of Christine Devanna. Martin was the loving grandfather of Benjamin, Ethan and Daniel (sons of daughter-in-law Myriam), Maxwell (son of Lori and Alan) and Aidan (son of Karen and Christopher Bonner). He was also the loving uncle of Valerie, Edward, and Joseph.
Graveside services will be held at Greenview Cemetery, 232 Fuller Street, Everett on Thursday, August 26 at 10 AM. Masks are optional. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Martin’s memory may be made to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, 2900 North Rocky Point Drive, Tampa FL 33607 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
