WAYLAND: Rozik “Rosie” Aloomian Tehranian, 65, died peacefully and in comfort surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 following her battle with cancer.
She was born in Tehran, Iran on May 23, 1956 the daughter of the late Vartan Aloomian and Anoosh (Shahverdian) Aloomian of London, England.
Rosie was the beloved wife for 40 years of Hassan Tehranian of Wayland. Devoted mother of Azahd Tehranian and Nina Tehranian and the cherished grandmother of Arev Tehranian, the daughter of Azahd and his partner Mercedes Adell Schomer of Framingham. She was the sister of Artem Aloomian and Armen Aloomian both of London, England. Also survived by 2 nieces, four nephews and many many friends.
Rosie spent her childhood years in Iran and has been a resident of the Wayland community for over 30 years. She attended Boston University studying in the field of Political Science.
Rosie was well known for her culinary talents, was a superb cook and delighted in entertaining family and friends. She enjoyed designing and creating pieces of jewelry and was talented in many artistic areas. She loved to travel with her husband and she was devoted to her family. She will be fondly remembered and was loved by everyone who knew her.
Visitations will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (off Rt. 30), Wayland. At the request of the family, masks will be required to be work in the funeral home.
Interment services will be private for Rosie in the Tehranian family lot in Lakeview Cemetery in Wayland.
