Residence 273 Oak Grove Ave., Fall River, MA., formerly of 140 Essex St., Fall River, MA. Died Thursday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, MA. Son of the late Manuel P. Mello and the late Antonia Alexander) Mello. He was a life long resident of Fall River. Before retiring he was a Crater at Beetle Plastics; previously he worked at Louis Hand Mfg. He was a former member of the Border City Club, and a former member of the Affonso Costa Republican Club. He was a member of St. Michael Church.
He is survived by One Daughter: Judith Anne Vanderpool of Fall River. Grand-father of Glenn and Jason Vanderpool and Three Great Granddaughters. He was also brother of the late Albert Mello and Lucinda Rapoza.
His funeral will take plavce from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 No. Main St. on Monday with visitation at 10:00 A.M. followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:00 A.M.Internment in St. Patrick Cemetery. There is no wake on Sunday.
