Paul F. Feeney, 69, of Dartmouth, formerly of New Bedford, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Jeremiah and Mary (Lima) Feeney, Paul lived most of his life in New Bedford and was a graduate of Bishop Stang High School, class of 1970. He worked as a commercial fisherman for over forty years.
Paul enjoyed watching football, cooking, and most especially spending time with his family.
He is survived by one son, Paul F. Feeney, Jr., his wife Megan and grandson Jaxson of Brentwood, CA; two sisters, Jean Catelli and her husband Robert, and Patricia Flynn and her husband Steuart, all of Bluffton, SC. In addition to his immediate family, he is survived by his long time companion, Deborah Shea of Dartmouth and his former wife, Kathleen (Broughton) Feeney of Florida.
Paul was known for his quick wit, his infectious laugh, and his kind and compassionate spirit.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday October 2, 2021 at 10 AM at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
